Gr.R, 1 & 8: Online application period for Grades R, 1 and 8 11 March -15 April 2025. (CLOSED) You can, however, apply either at an one of our Education District offices or at a school. Gr. 2-7 & 9-12 (Transfer Requests): Will take place 04-18 August 2025. Hard copy application forms available under 'Resources' on this website and at schools and District offices. Learners in exit grades (highest grade reached, will be accommodated). Admission appeals for on-time applications for Grades R, 1 and 8 open 1 August 2025 and close on 31 August 2025. Admission appeals for late applications for Grades R, 1 and 8 are open for 30 calendar days from 1 August 2025 or the date of the outcome of the application, whichever is later.
